Your Tasks
- Management and development of our engineering team
- Product development of hybrid earth-timber structures that align with our industrial production approach
- Consultancy in the context of project enquiries for exciting national and international construction projects
- Co-operation with external partners, suppliers and clients
- Coordination with our certification experts on international product certificates
- Exchange with universities and collaboration on research projects, as well as participation in conferences
Your Profile
- Degree in timber construction, civil engineering or a comparable qualification
- 5+ years of professional experience in the field of timber construction, ideally in a managerial role
- Additional expertise in fire- and/or sound-testing is a plus
- Sound knowledge in the planning and realisation of timber constructions
- Experience in product development in the construction industry, especially in the field of sustainable building materials, is an advantage
- Creative problem solver with an innovative spirit and an eye for detail
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for sustainable construction methods and materials

Your Tasks
- Consultation and support for clients in the project-specific implementation of earth-timber slabs.
- Collaboration and coordination with external specialist planners.
- Representation of Rematter at industry events and conferences.
- Invite clients to customer events.
- Presentation of Rematter solutions and technologies to clients (on-site, online or at events).
- Proactive management of all client contacts in CRM, including tracking customer feedback.
- Creation of sales lists for Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Europe.
- Support with the creation of sales materials.
- Leading webinars and training sessions.
- Preparation of trade fair appearances in coordination with the marketing team.
Your Profile
- Degree in timber construction, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Professional experience in timber construction, with expertise in structural design and planning and/or Sales.
- A collaborative mindset and readiness to take on/share tasks beyond your primary role, working seamlessly across functional areas in a dynamic startup environment.
- Knowledge of sustainable building materials and construction methods is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to advise and inspire clients.
- Experience with CRM systems and customer relationship management.
- Proactive and organized approach to sales and client management.

Origins
Rematter industrializes the earth-timber floor slabs that have been developed in a joint collaboration with Senn, Herzog & de Meuron and ZPF Ingenieure for the House of Research, Technology, Utopia and Sustainability (HORTUS). The office building aims to set new standards in construction with regard to Cradle-to-Cradle design principles and sustainability.
We are Rematter
Tobias has been at the forefront of developing robotic automation processes for architecture and construction over the last 15+ years, both in research at ETH Zurich and industry with his previous startup ROB Technologies.
Götz combines the experience of a carpenter with that of a sustainable finance senior. In his previous life he closed multi-million startup and project finance deals that will positively shape the future we live in.
Nico is an engineer with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. Besides being partner and co-owner of ZPF Ingenieure he built up the multi-million startup SkyCell which is now one of the leading pharma container systems worldwide.
Julia brings her passion for marketing and sales to our team. With a keen sense for trends and a strategic approach, she ensures that our solutions reach the right people.
Leon combines his passion for wood with his expertise in manufacturing processes. As the head of production, he ensures that production processes run efficiently, on schedule, and with high quality.
Linus strengthens our team as a civil engineer. In addition to his research as a PhD candidate at ETH Zurich in the field of sustainable hybrid building elements made of timber and earth, he brings his knowledge of digital manufacturing methods and resource-efficient constructions to our projects.
