Rematter is a fast-growing innovative startup developing sustainable building products to redefine the construction industry. Our first product, an earth-timber floor slab, combines the best properties of wood and rammed earth to provide an environmentally friendly, high-performance and architecturally sophisticated solution for modern construction projects. Your Tasks
- Consultation and support for clients in the project-specific implementation of earth-timber slabs.
- Collaboration and coordination with external specialist planners.
- Representation of Rematter at industry events and conferences.
- Invite clients to customer events.
- Presentation of Rematter solutions and technologies to clients (on-site, online or at events).
- Proactive management of all client contacts in CRM, including tracking customer feedback.
- Creation of sales lists for Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Europe.
- Support with the creation of sales materials.
- Leading webinars and training sessions.
- Preparation of trade fair appearances in coordination with the marketing team.
Your Profile
- Degree in timber construction, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Professional experience in timber construction, with expertise in structural design and planning and/or Sales.
- A collaborative mindset and readiness to take on/share tasks beyond your primary role, working seamlessly across functional areas in a dynamic startup environment.
- Knowledge of sustainable building materials and construction methods is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to advise and inspire clients.
- Experience with CRM systems and customer relationship management.
- Proactive and organized approach to sales and client management.
- Passion for sustainability and innovative construction techniques.

Origins
Rematter industrializes the earth-timber floor slabs that have been developed in a joint collaboration with Senn, Herzog & de Meuron and ZPF Ingenieure for the House of Research, Technology, Utopia and Sustainability (HORTUS). The office building aims to set new standards in construction with regard to Cradle-to-Cradle design principles and sustainability.
We are Rematter

Architect and leading construction roboticist with a PhD from ETH Zurich. Built ETH’s Robotics Fabricaiton Lab, founded ROB Technologies, and advised on construction automation for a decade.

Experienced in startup and project finance with a background in carpentry, social science and finance. Closed high-impact investments and has been driving the circular economy for over a decade.

Structural engineer with deep industry know-how in structural innovation, seismic design and fast-track construction. EPFL-trained, fluent in working with architects and engineers.

Julia brings her passion for marketing and sales to our team. With a keen sense for trends and a strategic approach, she ensures that our solutions reach the right people.

Simon supports us as a mechanical engineering intern. As part of his bachelor's thesis at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, he is deepening his expertise at Rematter in control systems engineering, machine dynamics, and process automation – with a particular focus on robotics and the development of automated manufacturing processes.

Leon combines his passion for wood with his expertise in manufacturing processes. As the head of production, he ensures that production processes run efficiently, on schedule, and with high quality.

Lucile strengthens our team as a product development intern. With a Master’s degree in Architecture (ENSA Nantes) and an additional engineering degree in process and methods specialization, she brings valuable perspectives to material analysis, quality assurance, and the continuous development of our products.

Linus strengthens our team as a civil engineer. In addition to his research as a PhD candidate at ETH Zurich in the field of sustainable hybrid building elements made of timber and earth, he brings his knowledge of digital manufacturing methods and resource-efficient constructions to our projects.
